Los Angeles Property Development Leader Gil Seton
Following two years as a project manager at Calmark Development in Los Angeles, Gil Seton Jr., joined Showplace Development, Inc. As president, he oversees all operations, including property acquisition, project management, and financing efforts. Gil Seton Jr., has developed multiple new construction affordable housing projects during his time at Calmark Development, with a focus on low and very low-income communities throughout inner-city Los Angeles.
Gil Seton expanded his professional activities in 2003 by joining SP Investment Fund, LLC, in a management role. He is responsible for acquiring general and limited partner interests in limited partnerships that own affordable multifamily properties. These partnerships represent more than 5,000 affordable housing apartment units throughout the nation. The company has also made investments in numerous emerging health sciences and biotechnology companies, with the goal of facilitating breakthroughs that will benefit society.
Gil Seton received the Samuel Furman Memorial Fellowship for excellence in real estate and finance during his time at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
